VLA observations of BOK globules: New protostellar candidates

As part of a comprehensive centimeter radio continuum survey of deeply embe dded young stellar objects in Bok globules, we present deep Very Large Arra y 3.6 cm continuum observations toward a sample of seven Bok globules. A to tal of 21 radio sources were detected above a 5 sigma sensitivity threshold of 0.1 mJy. Five of these sources are located within the optical extent of the globules and may correspond to very deeply embedded protostars. We hav e also identified one bona fide starless globule (CB 24).
