Abstract
A method for calculation of the probabilistic characteristics of the dose r ate on territories subjected to radioactive contamination is developed. The relation between the computed probability density of the dose rate and the distribution laws of the activity on the contaminated territory is analyze d. The form of the approximate description of the computed dose characteris tics is proposed for territories with the same types of contaminations. The transformation of the distirbution density to a log-normal distribution is traced. 2 figures, 4 references.
