Abstract
The effect of protease inhibitors, tannins and lectins on exocrine pancreat ic secretion in the pig is reviewed. Two surgical approaches to the collect ion of total pancreatic juice are discussed, and the importance of basing i nterpretations of experimental results on total rather than specific enzyme activities is stressed.
