Abstract
Immobilised metal chelate affinity chromatography (IMAC) in an expanded bed mode was used for the purification of horse radish peroxidase. Recovery of horse radish peroxidase varied between 85 and 72% starting from the crude homogenate. When a pure peroxidase was passed through the purification prot ocol a recovery of about 95% was achieved.
