Abstract
We have synthesized and characterized the different solid state phases of R bCaLa(PO4)(2-y)(AsO4)(y) 0 less than or equal to y less than or equal to 2 by X-ray diffraction and Infrared Spectroscopy. Xray diffraction of these m aterials was achieved by isotype analysis with KCaNd(PO4)(2), whose structu re derive from hexagonal CePO4. The aim of this study is to develop new mat erials that have improved optical properties for luminophors.
