Integrating education, health, and social services for young people: Current status and future directions

The preceding articles that comprise this special issue of the Journal of E ducational and Psychological Consultation have portrayed the need to integr ate education, health, and social services for young people more effectivel y; the principles and processes of integrating such services; and the exist ing barriers and opportunities. This concluding article briefly summarizes the preceding articles in sequence, highlights some recent national develop ments and resources, and explores means that might be used to improve servi ces integration in the future.
