Abstract
Transcranial ultrasonography was performed in a patient with a persistent t rigeminal artery, a remnant of fetal cerebral circulation that bridges the carotid and basilar territories. The study revealed low flow and reversal o f flow in the vertebral and basilar arteries, respectively. The interpretat ion and significance of these findings are discussed.
