Abstract
This paper deals with the descriptions and illustrations of new species of Alternaria Nees ex Fries. A. gorakhpurensis, A. solani-nigri and A. bonduce llae occurring on Martynia diandra, Solanum nigrum and Caesalpinia bonducel la, respectively. Morphotaxonomic features of these species were compared w ith type species and allied taxa.
