This study investigated the polarization anchoring energy coefficient (W-p)
and the dispersion anchoring energy coefficient (W-d) Of Dye Guest-Host Fe
rroelectric Liquid Crystal (DGHFLC) cells. The results showed that the pola
rization anchoring energy coefficient (W-d) and the dispersion anchoring en
ergy coefficient (W-d) increased with increasing dye concentration, and dec
reased with increasing temperature. The rotational viscosity and memory eff
ect of red dye guest-host ferroelectric liquid crystals were also studied.
The experimental results showed that the rotational viscosity and memory ef
fect increased with increasing dye concentration.
