Using the study of a telescope with a dynamic holographic corrector as an e
xample, the efficiency of application of the holographic technique to the c
orrection of distortions of the primary mirror in observation telescopes is
experimentally demonstrated. A volume dynamic hologram recorded in a photo
refractive crystal was used to correct distortions of a mirror with an opti
cal diameter of 150 mm in observations of point and extended objects emitti
ng spectra of various types, including continuous spectra covering the visi
ble region.
