The phonon spectrum of Sr2RuO4 superconducting compound is calculated by us
ing an unscreened rigid ion model for the first time. The results could not
be compared with the experimental measurements as these are not available
so far. The calculated values of the "neutron weighted" phonon density of s
tates (PDOS), the partial PDOS, the mean squared vibrational amplitudes hav
e been also presented. The results bring out the general features of the ph
onon spectra and also the details of the participation of different atoms i
n the total PDOS, We emphasise for the neutron scattering measurements on t
