High spin states of Se-72,Se-73,Se-74 nuclei are discussed using calculatio
ns from the cranked Nilsson Strutinsky method with tuning to fixed spins. T
he low spin anomaly in the yrast bands of these nuclei is interpreted in a
rotational co-existence picture. High K rotational isomers are proposed for
I-pi = 4(+) in Se-72 and 6(+) in Se-74.
