Abstract
Authors describe a transgluteal approach of the hip which is not based on t he somewhat unsure common insertion of gluteus medius and vastus lateralis. Anatomical basis and technical particularities of division of anterior par t of gluteus medius, of gluteus minimus and capsule are given which allow p reservation of gluteal nerve, stability of the joint, and solid reparation of abductor muscles.
