Synthesis of phosphinic analogs of sulfur-containing amino acids

Phosphinic analogs of the key compounds of the metabolism of methionine wer e synthesized. The compounds obtained were selectively oxidized either at t he phosphinic group or at the sulfur-containing fragment.
