Abstract
We report the discovery of a new class of superconductors, carbosulfide, Nb 2SCx with a layered structure. Nb2SCx (0.8 < x less than or equal to 1.0) e xhibits zero resistivity and diamagnetism below 5.0 K and is found to be a bulk type II superconductor. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd.
