Abstract
Some hydroxyheterocycles were halogenated to give the corresponding halohet erocycles using triphenylphosphine and N-halosuccinimide. In comparison wit h the usual method using phosphorus oxyhalide, the haloheterocycles were ea sily isolated. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
