Open space for improvements of the kinetic investigation for fast reactions
at high temperature (high T) and extremely short contact times is offered
by the development of more adequate experimental tools. Kinetic data of cat
alytic CO combustion, partial oxidation of methane and oxidative dehydrogen
ation of propane, which had been obtained under controlled operating condit
ions and under the estimated influence of mass-transfer and homogeneous rea
ctions, were fundamental for the correct interpretation of the more complex
