Abstract
A simple general model for the interaction of hydrodynamic diffusion and th e formation or destruction of agglomerates in a suspension is developed. Th e intention is to show some possible effects of a combination of agglomerat ion and hydrodynamic diffusion which may lead to interesting consequences f or the rheological behavior of suspensions. Some examples are presented in this paper.
