Abstract
The intrinsic viscosities of a group of polyamidoamine PAMAM dendrimer, hav ing ethylenediamine as the core, have been investigated. The intrinsic visc osity of G=0. 5 similar to 4. 5 PAMAM shows a maximum at G=2 similar to 3, while the ammonium quanternaries show a minimum there. The hydrodynamic rad ii of PAMAM calculated from intrinsic viscosity, increase approximately lin early with dendrimer generation.
