Using the effective field theory that accounts for the self-spin correlatio
n function, the critical behavior of a magnetic superlattice consisting of
two different ferromagnets is examined in a transverse spin-1/2 Ising model
. The dependence of the critical temperature on the thickness of the consti
tuents in a unit cell is investigated for different cases. A critical value
of the interface exchange coupling above which the interface magnetism app
ears is found. The effect of the transverse field on the system Is also inv
estigated.
