Abstract
Ferrocolloids represented by a series of dispersions of magnetite (Fe3O4) n anoparticles in kerosene were investigated by Mossbauer spectroscopy. Value s of the diffusion coefficient of magnetic particles at temperatures near t he region of solidification of the materials under investigation were deter mined from the width of ultrafine structure components of Mossbauer spectra . A correlation of concentration dependences of the diffusion coefficient w ith the acoustical and electrical properties of ferrocolloids was found for the first time.
