Abstract
Reflectivity analysis has focused on two key areas; overcoming the phase pr oblem and achieving reliable scattering length density profiles using model ling methods. Significant recent advances are the application of Bayes' the orem, the use of a genetic algorithm and the exploitation of magnetic refer ence layers and anomalous reflection.
