Abstract
A new method has been developed to analyze current-potential curves. The tr eatment was applied to determine the kinetic parameters of oxygen reduction . The reduction of oxygen was studied on thin-film platinum electrodes in a lkaline solution. For the purpose of comparison the kinetic parameters were determined by the traditional method of constructing Tafel plots. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserved.
