Abstract
We are reporting the case of a parapubic hernia that occurred after radical prostatectomy. This kind of the hernia is caused by the weakening of the a ttachments of rectus muscles to the pubic bone. Because of its location, it may be misdiagnosed as a far more common direct inguinal hernia. A laparos copic approach made it possible to precisely diagnose and repair the defect in the abdominal wall.
