Abstract
Catheter ablation using radiofrequency (RF) is a,widely accepted treatment option in patients with common type atrial flutter (AF). This case report d escribes a successful ablation of AF with a new closed cooled tip ablation in a 70-year-old woman with recurrent symptomatic AF. The ablation was perf ormed during sinus rhythm. With a series of five energy applications bi-dir ectional isthmus block was established. The procedure was well tolerated wi th no complications.
