Oxidation of new indolo-quinoline structures was studied. Herein, the use o
f a new oxidizing reagent, eg sodium perxenate, and other reagents (PIFA, t
BuOCl) which lead to indolenin (8) under bar-<(10)under bar> from indolic c
ompound (5) under bar is described.
