Abstract
Theoretical studies of the excitonic properties for different designs of MgS-ZnSe structures are presented. Excitonic binding energies are c alculated for single quantum wells. For MgS-ZnSe superlattices, the en ergy of electron-hole transitions are evaluated and compared with the experimental photoluminescence spectra. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science S.A.
