Particular aspects concerning Matteucci effect of four amorphous microwires
(Fe58.9Co14.7Si16.2B10.2, Fe71.8B9.1Si14Cu1Nb3.1, Co69Mn7Si10B15 and Co69M
n6Si10B15) with different values and sign of the saturation magnetostrictio
n are reported. The effect of applied torque on the voltage of the Matteucc
i effect and the coercive field corresponding to the circular magnetization
and axial magnetic field has been also measured and analysed considering t
he magnetoelastic helical anisotropy introduced by the torsion.
