Abstract
This paper presents a novel analytical technique of a permanent magnet line
ar synchronous motor(PMLSM) based on the Equivalent Magnetizing Current(EMC
) method, In particular, the paper is focused on the slot effect resulting
in the change of a steady-state performance of a PMLSM, And computed result
s by the proposed technique are compared with those obtained by both finite
element method(FEM) and experiment.
