Abstract
In this paper, in order to develope a new magnetic damper element, we have analyzed the simplified model by using the axisymmetric finite element meth od. Moreover, the dynamic simulations under shifting disturbances were carr ied out by using the step-by-step method. And we carried out an experiment in actual model using displacement sensor. The experimental results were co mpared with the calculated result.
