Concentration dependence of the Neel temperature of gamma-Mn100-xRux (31 le
ss than or equal to x less than or equal to 37) alloy systems has been inve
stigated. The Neel temperature increases with decreasing Mn concentration i
n analogy with gamma-Mn-Ir and gamma-Mn-Rh alloys. The Neel temperature of
the present, alloy system is the highest in disordered gamma-Mn-TM (TM drop
Fe, Ni, Rh, Pd, Ir and Pt) alloys, suggesting that the Neel temperature be
comes higher with decreasing the number of 3d electrons in the Mn site.
