Abstract
An electromagnetic model for an induction bearingless electric motor is pre sented. The analysis of this model explains some? previous reported problem s. Based on this model and a mechanical one, a simple controller structure is proposed and simulations presented. A laboratory prototype of this machi ne, tvas constructed and experimental results validate the analysis. The pr oposed approach can also he used for the design of better controllers.
