Abstract
Excess volumes V-E for binary mixtures of N-methyl cyclohexylamine with ben zene, toluene, o-xylene, m-xylene, p-xylene, chlorobenzene, bromobenzene an d nitrobenzene have been measured over entire range of composition at 303.1 5 K. The V-E values are positive in mixtures of n-methylcyclohexylamine wit h o-xylene, m-xylene, bromobenzene and nitrobenzene and an inversion of sig n from negative to positive is observed in the mixtures of N-methyl cycloth exylamine with benzene, toluene, p-xylene and chlorobenzene. The experiment al V-E are analysed on the basis of molecular interactions between.unlike m olecules.
