Abstract
The niobium complex [mu-PhP(C5Me4)(2)] [Nb(mu-NBut)Cl](2) is obtained by re action of Nb(NBut)Cl-3(py)(2) with [PhP(C5Me4)(2)]Li-2. In contrast to othe r ansa-niobocene complexes, the [PhP(C5Me4)(2)] ligand in {eta-PhP(C5Me4)(2 )] [Nb(mu-NBut)Cl](2) bridges a dinuclear Nb-2 fragment. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science S.A.
