Carrier transport and generation processes in 2,3,6,7,10,11-hexahexyloxy-tr
iphenylene (HHOTP) have been studied by a time-of-flight method in various
phases. The carrier mobility is estimated by the curve fitting method in wh
ich the spatial distribution of the generated charge carrier density is tak
en into consideration. From the experimentally determined slope-to-intercep
t value in a field dependence of generated charge, the zero field quantum e
fficiency of carrier generation is estimated to be approximately 0.05% taki
ng the Onsager model into consideration.
