Abstract
We studied the exchange interaction of electrons in coupled quantum dots us ing the Heitler-London approximation. We found empirical dependence of the exchange interaction of electrons on the interdot distance and electron tun neling coefficient kappa. Based on the calculation, we discussed the possib ility of a "transient magnetic semiconductor".
