Abstract
A jump in the frequency of the quasiferromagnetic soft mode in Fe3BO6 at th e point of the spontaneous orientational phase transitions Gamma(2)-Gamma(4 ) is observed experimentally. It is shown theoretically that this jump can be explained by the contribution of the dipole interaction to the expressio n for the quasiferromagnetic soft mode.
