A tool environment intended for constructing adaptive simulation models of
distributed systems is considered. The distributed systems are represented
as complex systems with structured message flows. The tools allow one to an
alyze the dynamics and behavior of distributed systems at the design stage,
as well as to obtain optimal parameters of operation for these systems and
their optimal configurations through the use of adaptation. The tool envir
onment is intended for simulation of complex computer systems, along with b
usiness processes of distributed organizations, regions, and branches.
