Abstract
We consider a general scalar field driving inflation in Brans-Dicke th eory and use the Brans-Dicke scalar field itself in the decaying facto r so as to gel a ''graceful exit'' from the inflationary scenario. (C) 1997 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
