Abstract
Enterogenous cyst is a benign lesion derived from misplaced endodermal epithelium. We report the aspiration cytology findings of an orbital cyst from a 32-year old woman. The smears contain benign-appearing cub oidal glandular cells with focal mucinous features. Carcinoembryonic a ntigen level in the cyst fluid was markedly elevated. These findings a re consistent with recurrence of the enterogenous cyst initially diagn osed 7 years earlier. (C) 1997 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
