Abstract
The distribution of ostracods around a coastal sewer at Moa Point on the so uth coast of Wellington, New Zealand showed that some species are particula rly sensitive to high levels of pollution, whereas others can tolerate a br oader spectrum of conditions. Ostracods are, therefore, useful indicators o f water quality.
