Abstract
Conventional simulation programs reach their limits for thick rubber parts as well as in critical moulding areas like sudden crossectional changes and at the rib-feet. With the aid of threedimensional simulations it is possib le to calculate more precise results, as the comparison with experiments sh ows. By consideration of inertial forces even the prediction of letting is possible.
