Nv. Isaev et al., Empirical evaluation of electron and phonon drag coefficients for dislocations in Pb- and Al-based alloys, LOW TEMP PH, 25(8-9), 1999, pp. 740-743
The impurity concentration dependence of the temperature threshold of low-t
emperature anomalies of plasticity associated with the influence of inertia
l effects on the dislocation mobility is analyzed using the experimental da
ta on the kinetics of plastic flow in five lead- and aluminum-based fcc sol
id solutions. It is shown that the results of such an analysis can be used
for evaluating the electron and phonon drag coefficients for dislocations i
n these metals and to derive an empirical expression for the temperature de
pendence of phonon drag in the low-temperature range. (C) 1999 American Ins
