Abstract
Fifty primer pairs were selected using clones hom the NotI library of human chromosome 3, and PCR conditions were optimized with Taq and Tth polymeras es. Thus, 50 NotI-STS markers were developed for 47 clones containing nucle otide sequences adjacent to the NotI sites of the chromosome, which can be used to locate NotI clones on YAC and/or RH maps of human chromosome 3.
