Abstract
The title 3-amino-2-thiohydantoins 3 has been prepared in very good yields by the reaction of alkyl isothiocynatocarboxylates 1 with hydrazine hydrate . The synthesis of starting isothiocyanates as well as spectral data of 3-a minothiohydantoins and alkyl isothiocyanatocarboxylates has been presented.
