Abstract
About five per cent of the children with congenital diaphragmatic hernia ar e asymptomatic during parturition and are diagnosed beyond the neonatal per iod. We report about particularities of "late-presenters'' with congenital diaphragmatic hernias namely funnel chest and a fatal outcome of an associa ted acute gastric volvulus.
