Abstract
The cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor p27(Kip1) degraded in a phosphorylati on- and ubiquitin-dependent way upon cell-cycle entry. p45(SKP2), the adapt or subunit of the ubiquitin-protein ligase SCFSKP2, may mediate recognition and ubiquitination or phosphorylated p27(Kip1).
