Abstract
Graves' disease can cause a baffling variety of symptoms that challenge the diagnostic skills of even the most experienced clinician. In the first par t of this two-part article, Ors Felz and Stein discuss distinctive features of this unique disorder and describe patients with memorable "faces" of Gr aves' disease. Part 2, which focuses on practical diagnostic testing and ma nagement of Graves' disease, will appear in the October 15 issue.
