Present and future regulatory trends of the United States Environmental Protection Agency

This paper provides an overview of factors that lead to the formation of en vironmental statutes. Specifically, this paper describes how societal value s play a role in the development of environmental regulations, such as thos e pertaining to pollution prevention, air quality, and protection of childr en's health. This paper also provides a general discussion of current envir onmental regulations, their impact on industrial research and development, and the types of environmental regulations that may be in effect within the next 10 years.
