Abstract
In this work we investigated the kinetics of formation of gamma-Ni20Zn80 al loy using nanocrystalline nickel obtained via mechanical milling. The alloy was prepared by a thermo-mechanical process developed in our laboratory. T hrough a systematic study, considering the variation of alloying temperatur e and the crystallite size, we have quantified the relationships between th e reaction rate and these parameters.
